This addition serves to strengthen the recruitment and retention efforts involved in helping the college fulfill its mission. Hubbard Shifts to Hanna ProjectHeath Hubbard, director of recruitment at Free Will Baptist Bible College since 2008, informed the college administration that he and his wife plan to work with the Hanna Project in southern Spain beginning this fall, according to Rusty Campbell, director of enrollment services.FWBBC Hosts GO10 CelebrationNearly 200 people gathered on the front lawn of Davidson Hall at Free Will Baptist Bible College Saturday afternoon, June 19, for a cookout and a live gospel bluegrass concert as FWBBC hosted a GO10 Walk for the World event. Sporting tennis shoes and bright T-shirts, GO10 walkers pushed through 93-degree temperatures marching the final mile of the day from Nashville’s Centennial Park to the tree-shaded FWBBC campus. 103 FWBBC Students Make President's/Provost's ListsThe spring 2010 semester at Free Will Baptist Bible College ended with 103 students earning academic recognition, according to Provost Greg Ketteman. Twenty-six students made all A’s and were placed on the President’s List—nine seniors, three juniors, five sophomores, and nine freshmen. Seventy-seven students earned a B average or higher and were placed on the Provost’s List (formerly the Dean’s List)—13 seniors, 16 juniors, 27 sophomores, and 21 freshmen. FWBBC to Launch Name Change Feasibility StudyThe Free Will Baptist Bible College Board of Trustees authorized the administration to conduct a feasibility study that could result in a name change for the 68-year-old institution by 2012, according to President Matt Pinson. FWBBC Expands ADP ClassesFree Will Baptist Bible College’s expanding Adult Degree Program will now include two new site locations in Middle Tennessee—Gallatin/Hendersonville and Pleasant View. Beginning in June, both sites will offer Teacher Education Licensure. Applications are now being accepted; classes begin June 1 and July 6. FWBBC Again Ranked Among America's Top Colleges by U.S. News and World ReportFree Will Baptist Bible College received notification in mid-August that the institution is again ranked among “Best Baccalaureate Colleges” (South Region, Third Tier) in U.S. News & World Report’s 2010 edition of America’s Best Colleges guidebook, according to President Matt Pinson. Highlights of the college rankings will be published in the August 24, 2009, issue of U.S. News.
