On May 4, 2007 I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Music/Christian Education. The degree came 27 years after I should have completed it but I was so glad to finally walk across that stage. The entire FWBBC made me feel so welcome at all the graduation activities. Thank you! A special thanks goes out to Dr. Greg Ketteman, Dr. Milton Fields and Dr. Jonathan Forlines. You men have my utmost respect. Thanks also to Dr. Kevin Hester as I watched over 120 hours of his DVDs to complete my course study. You were a very interesting professor and I learned a great deal from you.

Finally, I am now fulfilling a dream of mine that just really surfaced in 2002. That dream is to teach fulltime. I am a Special Educator at Churchland Middle School in my hometown of Portsmouth, VA where I teach in an inclusion classroom setting. I co-teach with a wonderful woman in the subjects of History and Civics and Economics. Pray that I will be a positive influence on these middle school students, many of whom are from broken or single parent homes. It is a public school but my teaching there is priceless!
Praise the Lord for the great things He has done!
