John Brummitt, the first cross country coach at FWBBC, graduated from FWBBC in 2004 and earned the MBA degree from Tennessee Technological University in 2011. A Tennessee native from Elizabethton, he has run competitively since high school and is the founder of Temple Builders Running Club. Since 2006, he has served with the Free Will Baptist Board of Retirement as chief financial officer. He married Ashley (Coker) in 2010.They are members of Donelson Free Will Baptist Church.
