Women's Basketball

Women’s Basketball Hoping to Play in 2010

After a two year hiatus due to a lack of interest, FWBBC is hoping to have a women’s basketball team again for the 2010-2011 basketball season.  The athletic department is currently working to recruit a squad for the fall.

There some current students interested in playing next year, but not enough to field a team without bringing in five or more players.

“We would really like to have a women’s basketball program again,” said FWBBC Athletic Director, Gary Turner.  “We are hoping that the girls we are recruiting will come and be members of the 2010 Flames.  If there are alumni and friends of the college that know of prospective players, please contact me.”
