Adult Degree ProgramFWBBC Expands ADP Program to Gallatin/Hendersonville and Pleasant View
NASHVILLE, TN—Free Will Baptist Bible College’s expanding Adult Degree Program will now include two new site locations in Middle Tennessee—Gallatin/Hendersonville and Pleasant View. Beginning in June, both sites will offer Teacher Education Licensure. Applications are now being accepted; classes begin June 1 and July 6. “ADP offers regular classes at nontraditional times,” said Tina Tolbert, director of the Adult Degree Program. “The Teacher Licensure program that will be presented at the new sites meets the needs of those who already have a bachelor’s degree with an arts and science major from an accredited college or university and want to obtain Tennessee licensure on a nontraditional schedule.” Tolbert explained further: “After we started the Adult Degree Program, it became obvious that the program met a need within the Nashville community—adult students who were not only interested in higher education but in Christian higher education. It has been such a joy to help students reach their educational goals through ADP, and we hope to reach and help even more through our new site locations.” FWBBC’s main campus at 3606 West End Avenue in Nashville has been part of the city’s educational community since 1942, where more than 300 students from 25 states and four other countries live and study in a Christian community of faith and learning. Less than two years ago, the college purchased a 66-acre site in Gallatin just off Vietnam Veterans Boulevard (SR 386) on which to construct a new campus. Plans are underway to build and relocate as soon as a buyer has been obtained for the current campus.
